GAIA - Cosy studio in the heart of La Roquette

Push open Gaia's door: a fully renovated ground-floor studio tucked away in a quiet lane of La Roquette, the most authentic district of Arles. A cosy interior in white, light wood and touches of greenery, designed for two: comfortable bed, full kitchenette, dining corner and fibre WiFi. In front of the entrance, a little table in the lane for your morning coffee in the sun. The Arena, the Van Gogh Foundation, LUMA and the Rhône are a few minutes' walk away — and on Saturdays, one of the most beautiful markets in Provence.

Ground-floor studio on a quiet residential lane, for a maximum of 2 guests: a warm, intimate cocoon. The little table by the entrance sits in the lane, a space shared with the neighbourhood. Non-smoking, no pets. The district is historic and residential: please keep quiet between 10 pm and 8 am. Gaia is in the pedestrian centre of Arles — car access to the door may be limited, and we will gladly guide you to the nearest parking. Self check-in with smart lock from 4 pm, check-out by 10 am.

All of Arles is walkable from the studio. Train station 15 minutes on foot: direct trains to Nîmes, Avignon and Marseille. The studio is in the pedestrian centre: paid public car parks nearby (parking du Centre, Rhône quays). By car: the Camargue and Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer in 30-40 minutes, the beaches in under an hour. Good walking shoes recommended — Arles is best explored along its cobbled lanes!

La Roquette, the old boatmen's district, is the most authentic soul of Arles. A few steps away: bakery, cafés and restaurants, the Actes Sud bookshop and the cinema. Provençal market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. On foot: the Roman Arena and Ancient Theatre (UNESCO), the Van Gogh Foundation, the Réattu Museum, Saint-Trophime cloister and Frank Gehry's LUMA tower. The Camargue is 15 minutes away, the Alpilles and the sea about half an hour.
